‘From City to Beachfront’
A 7 track EP that infuses city living with the laid back, easy listening citypop genre. Inspired by the albums of Toshiki Kadomatsu and Tatsuro Yamashita, with their fusion of Jazz and synth throughout the 80’s, this idea influences my own style and becomes a fusion of Citypop and Synthwave. It is a nostalgic letter to the time, something that could not be without the foundations being recorded all those years ago. The true understanding of learning from masters.
